SHORT MAT

New Mentoring Scheme for Newcomers

SMBC has introduced, with immediate effect, a ‘short mat mentoring team’ available to all new players to the club, on an individual or small group level, thereby giving new players an idea of how the game is played along with basic techniques and rules of the game prior to being introduced into the full club night experience. Players have the option of progressing to play in competitions both internally and against other clubs, as well as in friendly & league team matches should they wish 2 do so 👍.

The mentoring is usually over a period of approximately 4 weeks subject to the new players ability at times and dates to suit the new player. Normally sessions will last around an hour to help them gain the basics of the game 👍.

Any new players interested in taking advantage of this service should please contact the short mat mentoring team via it’s coordinator, Paul Kennett on tel; 01432 275384   or   email; p.kennett72@g.mail.com  to discuss the options available
